Make yourself at home
Dickie & Moore Homes
We we’re approached by Dickie & Moore to help them with the relaunch and repositioning of their housing development brand.
From the outset we knew it was important that Dickie & Moore Homes had it’s own identity that would sit alongside the parent brand with its own values and audience. We worked closely with Dickie & Moore to ensure that the brand moved away from its current construction and industrial aesthetic.
Our identity is inspired by the structure and foundations of a brand new home combined with a contemporary typeface to set the word marque aside from its parent brand. We wanted the brand to reflect the modern and stylish homes that they build.
Making a statement
As part of the brand positioning, we consulted on how Dickie & Moore Home should present their 3D renders and photography bringing a high end and modern edge to their marketing materials. We developed a graphic device that is used across hoarding and print materials to frame the new imagery.
We introduced an elegant stencil typeface which contrasts the brand marque which is used in large, bold typography to make a statement across supporting materials.
A new online presence
We were delighted when Dickie & Moore appointed us to improve their digital presence. This also included a new website for their homes division. We wanted to develop a site that was clearly still part of the Dickie & Moore group but showcased more of the lifestyle aspect of owning a home.
Content on the site could be built up using bespoke blocks to create visually engaging pages on the site. We also factored in a ‘development’ builder where DM staff can build up a housing development with available plots setup over a housing plan map these can then be marked as available, reserved or sold. This makes the site more of a sales tool for DM homes going forward.
