The Brief

The Software Advisory Service wanted a brand new look and feel to reflect the dynamic growth of the company. The main remit of the business is to reduce the complexity of finding an I.T. solution for their customers in a very busy marketplace. They tasked us with designing a standout brand that would put them above the noise and leading the field.

The Creative

Internally the business is known as SAS and we preferred this shorter name, however, there is another company that go by this acronym. Not wanting to lose the short dynamic name we looked to symbols and shapes to represent the letters. This lead us to explore morse code, one of the simplest forms of communication. We were able to retain SAS but have complete ownership of the brand, whilst creating a bold marque with a modern feel.

It was a great opportunity to work on a dynamic brand with a client who was open to explore a variety of avenues. As a creative studio it’s always good to hear that we made a clients decision hard with a diverse range of options. It was a close race between all routes presented, but after further exploration of the morse code treatment it was clear this had legs and was running. We added a personal touch on the business cards of the names in morse code and added a generator to the website so you too can find out your coded name.
