Mountains, lochs (and the best scrambled eggs in the highlands)
Set in the stunning surroundings of Loch Ness we wanted to visually represent the location but more importantly the warm welcome you receive when visiting The Lovat. Throughout our relationship we have added our shine to all of The Lovat’s design and digital assets creating a coherent journey.
The brand family
With a food offering second to none, we created sub-brands for the hotels restaurants and bar. This allowed the client to market each to their unique markets, from hillwalkers looking for a quick pint, to those looking for the finer things in dining. The Lovat has it all.
Web evolution over time
The client was keen to utilise large screen photography to say more than words could. Progressing the new site from the previous one required a lot of content trimming and honing the message that Caroline wanted to put out there in her digital domain.
We aimed to strike a balance between giving the customer enough information while maintaining a streamlined customer journey from landing to booking. To further achieve this consistency we also worked with Navarino to make the switch to the booking engine as seamless and as intuitive as possible. Working with them to design all aspects of the interaction with the site and the consumer.
The Lovat was a complex project that required the integration of their existing booking engine into the new site, a flexible page builder system and allow their users to sign up to their newsletter. I’m very proud of the finished product as The Lovat now has a system that is flexible, tailored to their needs and allows for future expansion.
Make an exhibition of yourself
Travel industry events were key in owner Caroline’s diary with group booking bringing increased occupancy. We helped her to create a lasting memory to give her press packs some impact long after the trade shows ended.
