Brand identity and modern digital presence for a unique collection of historic cottages on the Isle of Arran.

With a wide array of holiday homes available on the island our challenge was to elevate their online presence to stand apart from competitors and third-party booking companies. Growing awareness to a new audience of potential customers without alienating existing clientele was key.

The Solution

The brand identity was rooted in research of the island’s history. With important locations such as Brodick (deriving from Norse name meaning “Broad Bay”), Viking burial grounds and remains of forts throughout the island, we created a bespoke logotype and monogram inspired by alphabetic Nordic runes found across Arran.

As well as offering a timeless and sophisticated feel, these elements act as a nod towards Arran’s rich history.

New Online Presence

The new website was created to attract more direct and organic bookings through a seamless web booking process. It was also important to display the beauty of the island setting in a clean and easy to navigate way.

New photography was commissioned through Otago Street Collective, who helped capture the atmosphere of the island itself, along with the unique details of each property.
