Charity of the Month: Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity

Supporting a local charity…

As many of you will know, we always choose a new charity every month to donate to. As Bryan has recently joined the SHINE team, we asked him to choose this month’s charity.

Formerly known as Yorkhill Children’s Charity, Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity changed name when they relocated to the new hospital in Glasgow. We love to support local charities and this is a very worthwhile cause.  They are always seeking ways to improve the health care that children receive and support them through their treatments.

Their current appeal is to raise £150,000 for a state-of-the-art surgical microscope. This could be used in a number of procedures, from facial reconstruction to cleft surgery or tumour removal. You can read more about this appeal here.
